hi there just to note, since the upgrade of edp whenever i try to update my latitude d520 i get a kernel panic and for some strange reason i cant figure out what is happening, so i have to resort to a previous backup to use my hackintosh, no more can i do a fresh install

Hi,
just finished to install El Cap on my Latitude D630 with nVidia graphics, followed the guide to the T and the system works like charm!
Running 10.11.6 and also installed the most recent patch. Apps store working, sleep working, WiFi working (with compatible BRCM module), external USBs working, VGA external display working, can't ask for more.
Remaining gap: MocOS does not pick up Bluetooth internal, will likely use external dongle for the time being.
I want to sincerely share my appreciation for the great work of the masterminds behind this forum!

how - working mac made a restore of the Retail 10.6.3 DVD Then on same USB installed NawCom ModUSB booted
it did the rest - should have added the 10.6.8 combo update + intel atom kernel - through out used an external VGA Screen now needing kexts.
any ideas ?

I have installed Mavericks 10.9 using myhack and made minimum backup of all the files in /System/Library/Extensions and /Extra to my USB Installer later i updated it with 10.9.5 combo update now i cannot able to boot my mac.
Can anyone please help me how to use the terminal app and its commands to replace /System/Library/Extensions and /Extra using USB Installer Please...

Hackintosh freezes at beginning of progress bar (Clover -> Sierra)
Hi there,
I hope I am right with the topic in this thread.
I am just building my first Hackintosh and having problems with starting via clover.
I am always stuck just at the beginning of the progress bar below the apple.
I want to install MacOs Sierra with Clover from an Lexar 128 GB USB drive.
After reading a lot, I tried diverse boot options like "npci=0x2000 nv_disable=1" or "PCIRoot=1". I turned on the safe mode but it still freezes just at the beginning of the progress bar.
I set the bios options, I changed the USB slot of the stick from front to back and since I thought it might be the graphics card, I removed it and changed to internal graphics. But it still freezes at the same point. Sometimes one line more or less but still around the same. I attached some photos of the point it freezes.
My configuration is:
- Intel Core i7-6700K 4 GHz
- Gigabyte GA-Z170M-D3H Mainboard
- Ballistix Sport LT 64GB RAM
- Gigabyte GeForce NVIDIA GTX 960 WindForce2OC
- Samsung EVO 850 1 TB SSD
After almost surrendering, I flipped and tried a lot of different Clover options and with these checked, it finally progressed and let me install MacOS Sierra:
- usb ownership
- usb injection
- cpu halt enabler
- graphics injectEDID
Does anyone have an idea what the problem might be?!

Updating to Latest OS (Sierra)
Hi All,
It's been a while, My hackintosh has been working well the last 2 years running Mavericks 10.9 which I installed with MyHack.
I'm looking to update to the latest OS, and while updating through the mac store is mighty tempting I felt consulting with the forum may be best to do first.

EDP on Sierra
Will you provide support on Sierra? I tried upgrading from El Capitan to Sierra but I didn't know EDP doesn't work yet on Sierra. Now I'm having a real hard time on post installation because most tutorials for Sierra are about Clover and I still use Chameleon (Enoch).

Boot stuck at spinning circle
Hi,
I've tried to install Mavericks on my system, but unfortunately I don't even make it to the installation screen.
Bios is set up properly and I've got an intel processor, nvidia graphics and an Asus mainboard.
When booting verbose it gets stuck with the following error:
USBMSC Identifier (non unique): 058F63646476 0x58f 0x6364 0x100, 2
Still waiting for root device
What could that be? Does anybody know a solution?

HFS: mounted myHack OS X 10.9.4 Install Disk on device root_device
Looking for help to get past a point where installation freezes.
I run a windows based server with VirtualBox, and have a user request to try and get Mavericks working in a vm. I have tried unifail/multifail and myHack approaches, but with either one, the vm hangs at the same place (but with a slightly different message depending on which approach.) In the case of myHack the text reads:

No matter what flags or combination of flags I enter at boot, and no matter if I use bios or efi, and no matter which method of installation I use, (MyHack or other,) the output from -v always freezes at the exact same place: please see attached image.
If the message is literal, then an HFS disk was successfully mounted on device root_device. Assuming no other errors (as pages and pages of text scrolls past before it gets to this screen,) what should the next step in the installation process be? Now that the disk is mounted, is it necessary to change to that disk in order to complete the installation? If it should automatically continue installing Mavericks, does there appear to be any common point of failure in the hardware?

I've been trying so many thing that I don't even know what else to try.
I have tried many different combination on clover's config.plist file but nothing has worked.
I keep getting:
Kernel Panic "Unable to find diver for this platform: \"ACPI\" When I try to boot with intel integrated graphic card.
My setup:

CPU: i5-4460

Grey screen of Death - Boot help please!
Hi guys, I need your help, my sys was working well, but i enabled trim for my ssd sys disk and something wrong happened, my RAID (Software RAID 0) started to make a recursive access noise, so i tried to fix the problem by re-installing Chameleon, but things got worst, now the sys reach the desktop, but instead of it i have the GSOD. I don't know what to do.
